Interfaith Parenting Workshop

Our Children, Their Identities - A Workshop For Parents of Interfaith Children

For interfaith families, determining the religious and cultural practices of your family presents unique challenges.  What messages and what elements of Jewish identity do you want to pass on to your children?  How do you build a strong religious and cultural foundation for your family, if you grew up with different traditions, or with very few traditions?  How do you balance the various feelings, hopes, and traditions of parents from different backgrounds?  Meet other interfaith parents in this discussion about identity, family, and traditions.  Facilitated by Rabbi Rachel Nussbaum and Adam Halpern, MSW, MAJCS.

We encourage couples to attend this workshop together.

Details:  Tues. Feb. 24, 7-9pm.  Advance registration required.

Cost:  $15/couple.  Scholarships available - please ask if interested.

A limited amount of babysitting may be available with advance request.

Co-sponsored by Kavana and Jewish Family Services.
