We want to make sure that Jewish programming and education is accessible to everyone - if any costs noted below are not possible for you, please let us know.
Kids and Parents
Family Shabbat
This monthly Saturday morning program, geared towards kids and their parents, includes singing, learning and fun - Shabbat songs and prayers plus activities focused on Jewish values. Time is built in for families to be together and for kids and parents to learn separately.
Parents and kids 0-11
Monthly, 9:30am-12pm. RSVP for location.
Costs per household: single program $10/partners, $15/non-partners; series (Sept. 2008-May 2009) $50/partners, $110/non-partners.

Prep & Practice
This popular program helps families prepare and practice for Jewish holidays together, engaging the whole family in stories, cooking, building, and arts and crafts. After a group learning session about the holiday, family units visit different activity stations and then a final session wraps it up.
Parents and kids 2-11
Sundays 10am-12pm, corresponding with Jewish holidays, about monthly. RSVP for location.

Hebrew Immersion Playgroup
Exposing toddlers to modern conversational Hebrew through games, songs and directed play.
Kids 0-3 and a parent
Nine-week series on Fridays, 10-11am. RSVP for location.

Just for Kids
Moadon Yeladim (Kavana Kids Club)
This new model for afterschool Jewish learning aims to give kids in grades K-5 a deeper sense of Jewish community and identity. The high-energy program includes Hebrew language immersion and an arts-based Judaic curriculum.
Grades K-5
Tuesdays (required) and Thursdays (optional but strongly recommended), Nov 2008-May 2009, 3:30-5:30pm (drop-off starts at 3pm). RSVP for location.
Costs per child (10% reduction for 2nd child)
- Tuesdays only: per month - $75/partners, $110/non-partners; seven-month series - $525/partners, $770/non-partners
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: per month - $100/partners, $140/non-partners; seven-month series - $700/partners, $980/non-partners We want to make sure that Jewish education is accessible to everyone, so if these amounts are not possible for you, please just let us know.

Havdalah (end of Shabbat) Club
A monthly Saturday evening program for kids ages 8-11. In addition to dinner and a short Havdalah ceremony to mark the end of Shabbat, kids are challenged to discuss and debate age-old Jewish questions through games and other fun activities. The Havdalah Club is designed to teach kids about Jewish thinkers, develop their critical thinking skills, and make new friends.
Ages 8-11
Monthly, starts around sunset. RSVP for location.
