Kavana's Winter Retreat (first ever!)

Last weekend in January
Winter Retreat 2011
Kavana is having its very first Winter Retreat, and we hope you'll join in and help make it a great success!

What: We can't predict exactly what it will be like (as this is Kavana's first-ever Winter Retreat), but you can count on spending a somewhat wet, gloomy, northwest weekend with a fun group in a warm and cozy setting.  We'll have a big shared lodge and dining space, full kitchen, heated cabins with bunkbeds, and access to great hiking trails.  Natural beauty + Shabbat + beach combing + hot cocoa = lots of fun!

When: January 28-30, 2011

Where: The Cornet Bay Environmental Learning Center at Deception Pass State Park (about 2 hours north of Seattle)

Cost: $40/adult (or $50 for non-partners), $25/child (or $20/child if you're bringing more than one). Children under 2 are free. (Pricing includes accommodations & most meals.  You can pay right now with the shopping cart at the top of this page or mail a check to The Kavana Cooperative, PO Box 19666, Seattle WA  98109.)

RSVP: Your payment is your RSVP, and is necessary in advance to reserve your spot.

Accommodations: The cabins are heated with electric heat. Each cabin is equipped with bunkbeds to sleep up to 10 people. We can split up the cabins however we see fit according to the number of people we have, but it is safe to assume that all cabins will be shared cabins to some extent.

- Saturday breakfast - bagels & cream cheese & fruit
