Oxbow CSA Winter Share

Have you heard the great news?  Oxbow Farm is organizing its first ever Winter CSA Share! Yay!

Here's what the farmers at Oxbow have to say about their brand-spanking-new Winter Share:
Our 4 week winter share extends the Oxbow goodness into mid-December, and beyond! Each box will have fresh veggies you can eat immediately plus a little extra you can store and enjoy throught out the winter. It is easy and doesn't take much room to store some basic veggies for winter use. Carrots, beets & parsnips can be stored for months in your crisper. Potatoes, onions & winter squashes just need a corner in a cool, dark spot in your pantry or even a cupboard!

Pick-up Place & Time for the 4 Week Winter Share

- Kavana will have a "members only" drop off location at Kavana H.Q. on Queen Anne.
- The 4 Week Winter Share will take place on Friday, Nov. 11, Nov. 18, Dec. 2, Dec. 9.
- Pick up hours will be from 3pm - 5pm.

Winter Share Pricing
- $100 (that's only $25/box of produce!). The CSA Winter Share will run for 4 weeks, but many of your winter veggies (potatoes, winter squash, carrots, beets, parsnips etc.) will last for months if stored properly!

So why not just run to the grocery store for your potatoes and carrots this winter? Well, because CSAs Support Local Farms!
In a CSA, a household subscribes to a local farm for the growing season and picks up a weekly box of fresh, organic produce. Our vegetables will come from Oxbow Farm, a 10-acre farm in Carnation, WA
