2011 CSA Kickoff
Kavana is proud to offer a Jewish Community-Supported Agriculture ("CSA") program. We are one of many pioneering Jewish CSAs affiliated with Hazon, a national non-profit that works to link Jewish tradition with environmental action. Here in Seattle, we have found a local farm (Oxbow Farm) to bring you fresh, organic produce once a week during the growing season (June-October).
Now is the time to start gauging interest in this year's CSA. Were you involved in the program last year and would like to stay involved this year? Are you brand new to the world of community supported agriculture and think you might be interested in joining the movement? Great! Come shmooze with us as we celebrate the upcoming growing season and work out the logistics of this year's program.
What: 2011 CSA Kickoff (open to anyone interested in joining this year's CSA program)
Date: Sunday, Feb. 27
Time: 4-6pm
Location: Local 360 in Belltown
Interested in joining this year's CSA program but would like to have a better idea of what it entails? Click here to read all about last year's CSA program and of course, feel free to email us if you have any questions!
