Mega Shabbat
Join us for Seattle's biggest Shabbat of the year! Jconnect Seattle, The Ravenna Kibbutz and The Kavana Cooperative are joining forces for a special Shabbat blow-out. Everyone is welcome, of all ages (adults & kids, old and young - everyone!)
We’ll start things off with drinks and snacks at 6:45PM, and then we will follow with two lively Shabbat experiences at 7:15pm.
Choose from either:
*A traditional, spiritual kabbalat shabbat service led by Rabbi Jacob Fine (no instruments but lots of singing!), OR
*Learning and discussion led by Rabbi Will Berkovitz.
Afterwards, we invite everyone to a catered dinner with meat and vegetarian options. Dinner is $12 or what you can afford. (Please pay in advance when you rsvp, or, pay at the door on Friday.)
Location: UW Hillel - 4745 17th Ave NE Seattle, WA 98105
To RSVP, please use this link.
Note: While most participants will be in their late 20s through mid-30s, EVERYONE is welcome. There is no age cut-off. Children are welcome. (Bring the kids!) Elderly parents are welcome. (Bring the folks!) This is open to the entire community.
